The casework for this week is defined as: Team management skills through goal setting and action plans. Due Date: Your team project is due on April 16th. Please make sure you e-mail your final assignment to us on or before this date. Every assignment builds on the training and provides a foundation for future modules, so it is important for the assignment to be completed and turned in on time. Instructions: 1. Depending on whether everyone has had a chance to fulfill all of the roles, switch to a role you have not fulfilled. You will need to assign a Leader, Manager, Communicator & Facilitator. The communicator will also be responsible to email the final document for your group to the facilitator. 2. Similar to the previous cases, your team is responsible for establishing the job aides and tools for new teams. In this case you are responsible for defining how to project manage a team. Your document needs to include explanations on goal setting and action planning. The document you submit needs to have enough detail and explanation that a new team member would understand how to fulfill their responsibilities of coordinating or organizing a new team 3. Within your document please provide a worksheet and tracking sheet for measurement of goals and planning. Consider all of the parts of the project you expect your new team members to track for the organization. 4. Make sure the document(s) are approved by the entire team, that all members contribute to the final product. 5. Tools are available under the resources area, although we expect you to determine your own tracking methods and format for this final product. 6. When you are done with this final case all members of your team should have a complete set of tools or job aids you can use for Essential Team Building. |
